We provide consulting, design and installation services to bring your PC technology together with your home entertainment systems. Many of us have more than one PC at home and we very rarely have a strategy in place to deal with the growing mountain of media that we are collecting – from music downloads to the racks/boxes of CDs; or the increasing number of photos and video clips we take. How do we manage it, share it or protect it? We offer a range of services that include:
We can “rip” your CDs to a lossless digital file so that it sounds as good as the original CD. We can also provide a high quality MP3 version at the same time for populating your iPod, MP3 player or mobile phone. Legally, we cannot rip DVDs for you but we can configure the server to do it for you automatically on insertion of a disc.
We install and configure a central repository for all your music, photos, videos and even DVDs. This then “serves” up your media to any stereo or TV in your home – even multiple people at the same time. The server has been chosen for its low power usage so even though it is on 24/7, it will not be hurting your pocket or the environment.
Connecting a small box to your hifi or TV allows you to listen to your music or view your photos or videos in whichever room you choose. The music system uses a wireless controller with its own screen so that you can choose the music and the room that you want to hear.
We will configure all computers to back themselves up to the server, regularly synchronise any new media to the server, share a printer on the network or generally configure/service PC equipment as required.
